's producing heat in the valley. 90's but over here the low pressure producing very cool coastal sections. we are in the middle. that's why we are seeing warm temperatures, inland and seeing cool temperatures at the coast. that high is going to weaken on sunday so sunday's highs will be cooler. that moist air and the cooler air -- go in to the bay and out toward the east bay. that's typical for this time of year. the high pressure kept us nice in lake tahoe. overnight lows -- going up this weekend for the overnight lows, mid to upper 30s. highs in the 70's. after no thunderstorms in the forecast, 88 tomorrow, that's saturday -- 76 vallejo. forecast highs not bad. plenty of 80's. low 90's as well. mostly 70s and 80's around the bay. forecast along the coast will be from fog, also a bitl clearing, five day forecast with the bay area weekend nouveau shapes up like this. nice one. very subtle changes, this week been -- up here talking for the last fine nights, it has been subtle. degree here or there. the bottom line is -- its been nice and will stay that way. >> fantastic. i like it. >> thank

kind of pattern tomorrow. temperatures mainly in the 70s. extended forecast, things stay in a warm pattern. as we go through the week, temperatures trend up a little bit. right now 90s. if the holds out it might get warmer and might have fire concerns late into the weekend, next week. way off. not right now. right now good pattern. 7:00 a.m. tomorrow morning, patchy fog. patches here. half moon bay. that is it. the fog is minimal tomorrow. and forecast highs tomorrow, just almost similar to today. mid-60s in downtown san francisco. berkeley, low 70s. walnut creak, livermore, morgan hill, mid-80s. and even upper 80s towards discovery bay and vacaville and fairfield. 90 in clear lake. 87 in fairfield. 75 vallejo. 87 antioch. above average and warm. it will be a nice, fall like day. up side is it is not so warm and hot that we are concerned about red flag warnings. enjoyable pattern. we can enjoy it without fire. but that could change towards the end of the weekend. you see the bay area weekend, nice weekend. warms up on sunday. beyond that a potential for inside with that could be a

, the chp and the u.s. marshals all teamed up to try and solve this case. officers arrested a 16-year-old in east palo alto around 11 a.m. today for the attempted murder of a highway patrol officer back on july 21. the officer was not hurt. three other people were arrested within just a couple of days of that incident back in july. >>> and coming up in ten minutes, protesters say the police are lying. what they're saying and the reason vallejo's police chief says his officers are the ones at risk, in the wake of a fatal shooting of a suspect earlier this week. >>> two suspects were arrested at gun-point today after leading chp officers on a high- speed chase through the east bay. it all started when a chp officer tried to pull over a stolen vehicle. the driver took off, eventually ditching the car. the suspects, a man and a woman, ran into a san leandro neighborhood. chp were able to arrest the two about 25 minutes later. >>> nature sent a very loud message today that the nice summer weather is taking a break.
